Foreign Trade Organizes a Workshop to Introduce the Harmonized System

The General Authority for Foreign Trade organized a workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 14-15, 2026, at its headquarters in Riyadh, to introduce the Harmonized System, attended by more than 40 representatives from 15 government entities and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The workshop covered the Harmonized System's structure, numbering, and general interpretive rules, noting that the system covers more than 98% of goods traded globally.
