The General Authority for Foreign Trade, represented by its Trade Remedies Agency and its Agency for Private Sector Affairs and International Representation, held a virtual workshop on Monday, 8 June 2026, to introduce the Commercial Processors (trade remedies) system and its implementing regulation to the petrochemicals sector, with participation from company representatives in the sector. The workshop covered the system's role in protecting local industry, the effect of trade remedy tools, the mechanism for addressing injury to local industry, and how the Authority handles related complaints and confidential data.
