Foreign Trade Continues to Strengthen the Kingdom's International Trade Gains During 2025

The General Authority for Foreign Trade continued to strengthen the Kingdom's international trade gains during 2025 by expanding international partnerships, applying trade remedies to protect domestic industry, and supporting integration into global value chains in pursuit of Vision 2030 targets. The Authority's 2025 annual report recorded total trade in goods and services of 1,381 billion riyals in 2024, with non-oil exports growing 13% to 308 billion riyals and services exports rising 15% to 235 billion riyals. Saudi Arabia chaired the WTO General Council for 2025–2026, commercial attachés identified 2,221 export opportunities (up 17.5%), and 393 investment opportunities were recorded (up 19%). Trade remedy efforts initiated four anti-dumping investigations and imposed final duties on imports from four countries, while the total number of Saudi-foreign joint business councils reached approximately 104.
