The Kingdom Participates in the Fourteenth Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization

Saudi Arabia participated, led by GAFT Deputy Governor for International Organizations and Agreements Farid bin Saeed Al-Asali on behalf of Commerce Minister Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, in the 14th WTO Ministerial Conference (MC14) held 26-29 March 2026 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The conference addressed WTO reform, development and least-developed countries, the e-commerce work program, and incorporating the Investment Facilitation for Development and e-commerce agreements into the WTO's legal framework. Saudi Arabia's trade with WTO member states was about $537 billion, with exports of about $305 billion in 2024, and the Kingdom has coordinated the Arab Group at the WTO for 8 sessions since 2011.
