The Kingdom concluded its participation in the World Trade Organization's Fourteenth Ministerial Conference, held in Yaoundé, Cameroon from 26-29 March 2026, led by General Authority for Foreign Trade Deputy Governor Fareed bin Saeed Al-Asali on behalf of Trade Minister Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi. The conference addressed WTO reform, agriculture, fisheries, development issues for least-developed countries, e-commerce, investment facilitation, and country accessions, with Saudi Arabia affirming support for reform, dispute settlement, and special treatment for developing and least-developed countries. Saudi Arabia's trade with WTO member states totaled about $537 billion, with exports of approximately $305 billion in 2024.
