Universal Aviation and the Ground Handling Services License
يونيفرسال ورخصة الخدمات الأرضية
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has granted Universal Aviation a license to provide ground handling services at the private aviation terminal at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, marking the start of the company's operations. The terminal will be the company's first location in the Kingdom from which it will provide its services. The license forms part of GACA's efforts to develop the general aviation sector by providing an integrated operating environment that supports the sector's growth and enhances the quality of services offered to general aviation users. The move is aligned with the Aviation Programme under the National Transport and Logistics Strategy. It contributes to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to establish the Kingdom as a global logistics hub while strengthening the competitiveness of the civil aviation sector regionally and globally.
