Saudi Arabia's delegation, chaired by the Governor of the Digital Government Authority, Eng. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Alsuwaiyan, on behalf of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, participated in the 28th meeting of the GCC Postal and Telecommunications Committee, hosted by Qatar on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in Doha, to discuss the digital economy, innovation, AI solutions, and digital government development among GCC countries. Alsuwaiyan also participated in the 8th meeting of the Ministerial E-Government Committee and invited attendees to the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2024, to be held in Riyadh from December 15 to 19, 2024. The delegation also toured several Qatari technology and innovation centers, including the Qatar National Library, Qatar Science and Technology Park, TASMU Innovation Lab, Government Contact Center, and Mada Center.
