DGA Holds Workshop on Financial Management of Cloud Computing in Government

The Digital Government Authority (DGA), in collaboration with IBM, held a virtual workshop on best practices in financial management of cloud computing in the government sector (FinOps), attended by more than 300 representatives from 90 government agencies. The workshop covered global best practices, business models in cloud financial management, and challenges related to cloud transformation, targeting a cloud service adoption rate of no less than 50% within digital government in 2025 and 80% by 2030. The workshop is part of a planned series aimed at enhancing capabilities in cloud computing and accelerating cloud transformation across digital government.
