DGA Launches the Digital Transformation Measurement Index 2026

The Digital Government Authority (DGA) launched the "Digital Transformation Measurement Index 2026" to help government agencies improve digital performance, service quality, and government integration. Governor Eng. Ahmed bin Mohammed Alsuwaiyan said the index now serves as an enabling platform rather than a mere compliance tool, and that the 2026 cycle includes an updated "Digital Transformation Essential Standards Document" and a new "Digital Content Efficiency Index" sub-index. The 2026 cycle commenced through a virtual workshop attended by more than 2,800 specialists from 249 government agencies; the updated document includes 89 standards, compared to 95 standards and 240 participating agencies in the 2025 cycle, which scored 88.30% with 26 entities reaching the "Innovation" level.
