The Digital Government Authority (DGA) held a workshop titled "Digital Identity for Legal Entities" on Sunday, 15 February 2026, attended by Governor Eng. Ahmed bin Mohammed Alsuwaiyan and Dr. Esam bin Abdullah Alwagait, Director of the National Information Center at SDAIA, along with 19 representatives from 8 government agencies at the Authority's Innovation Hub. Participants reviewed the current status of legal entities in Saudi Arabia, discussed challenges across government, private and non-profit sectors, and proposed solutions, and reviewed the current digital identity model, its phases, and its services including issuing entities, regulatory bodies, and service providers.
