The Digital Government Authority (DGA) held a workshop titled "AI Powered by Cloud Computing: Redefining Excellence in the Public Sector to Achieve a More Efficient and Effective Government" on Wednesday, 19 November 2025 in Riyadh, in collaboration with Oracle. More than 150 representatives from 90 government agencies attended, and the workshop covered global best practices in AI and cloud computing, governance frameworks, and cloud migration, with the aim of reaching an 80% cloud adoption rate by 2030.
