On Sunday, December 3, 2023, the Digital Government Authority held a "Cloud Computing" workshop for members of the Digital Transformation Committee, attended by over 65 representatives from the committee and government agencies. The workshop introduced the Program for Accelerating the Adoption of Public Cloud Services and covered topics including cloud operating models, service governance, information security and migration strategies. The Authority stated its goal of achieving a 50% cloud services adoption rate in digital government by 2025 and an 80% rate by 2030.
