The Digital Government Authority announced the opening of applications for Digital Certification licenses via its website, aiming to license companies to provide digital certification services such as issuing digital certificates, e-signatures, electronic and time stamps, and device management. It will license two categories: a comprehensive service provider qualified to provide all such services, and a specific service provider qualified for one or more services excluding certificate issuance. Companies wishing to apply were called on to do so by Thursday, August 29, 2024.
