The Digital Government Authority (DGA) issued a research study titled "Cloud Computing and its Role in Accelerating Digital Transformation and its Sustainable Impact in the Government Sector." The study defines cloud computing as a technical solution enabling software operation, data storage, and resource sharing through external service providers, and examines its role in advancing digital transformation across Saudi government sectors. It aims to provide reference information and evidence to raise awareness of cloud computing adoption and to support decision-makers in government entities in developing appropriate cloud strategies that contribute to sustainable development of their environments, societies, and economies.
