Press Release - Council of Cooperative Health Insurance Calls on Service Providers to Register on SDAIA's National Data Governance Platform
بيان صحفي - مجلس الضمان الصحي يدعو مقدمي الخدمة إلى التسجيل في منصة حوكمة البيانات الوطنية التابعة لـ”سدايا”
The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance called on service providers approved for health insurance beneficiaries — hospitals, pharmacies, medical complexes, laboratories, and centers — to register on the National Data Governance Platform of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), pursuant to Article Two of the "Rules Governing the National Registry of Controllers within the Kingdom," in order to build a unified national registry tracking entities' compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations. Council spokesperson Eman Al-Turaiqi said the platform offers services including a self-assessment tool, personal data breach notification, privacy impact assessment, and complaint intake, and stated that failure to register constitutes a regulatory violation subject to the provisions of Article Thirty-Six of the Personal Data Protection Law.
