Ministry of Municipalities and Housing: Establishment of 294 New Parks and Implementation of More Than 250 Urban Interventions During 2025

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced that during 2025 its municipal sector programmes established 294 new parks, implemented 252 urban interventions across Saudi cities, and rehabilitated 132 existing parks, contributing to improved urban environments, increased per-capita green space, and enhanced city attractiveness. The ministry also approved three local plans and one regional plan to guide urban growth, closed more than 100 informal waste dumps, and established 17 afforestation offices within the ministry and its secretariats, all in pursuit of Saudi Vision 2030 targets.
