The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has developed the Balady application, expanding it from a business-owner tool into a comprehensive digital experience for all city residents. Updated features include an interactive map (launched in beta) covering more than 30 commercial complexes in Riyadh, personalised alerts, weather information, road-status updates, speed alerts, and event notifications. The app also enables residents to participate in public-space improvements and continues to facilitate commercial transactions such as licence issuance and municipal service requests.
