The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing is intensifying efforts to enhance compliance regarding vacant lands and reduce visual blight, calling on landowners to make use of the corrective period extended until 15/4/1448 AH. The current phase focuses on enforcing municipal requirements for vacant lands and addressing violations such as accumulation of construction debris and excavation waste or unlawful use of land, with municipalities continuing field monitoring and urging owners to rectify their land status before the corrective period ends to avoid statutory enforcement actions.
