"Sustainability Assessment" Projects Grow by 200% During the First Quarter of 2023

The Sustainable Building program reported that the number of projects registered in the Sustainability Assessment service grew by about 200% in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the same period last year, exceeding 8 projects with a total area over 1,500,000 m2, spanning neighborhood communities and commercial buildings. The service measures building sustainability through meeting sustainability requirements, improving quality of life, reducing construction waste's environmental harm, raising operational efficiency, and reducing emissions; projects can obtain a sustainability certificate at one of five levels (Diamond, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Green), with a maximum score of 100 points for residential projects and communities and 130 points for commercial projects.
