The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced that its municipalities and municipal authorities conducted more than 7.7 million inspection rounds across cities, neighbourhoods, commercial establishments, and construction sites to improve the urban landscape and raise quality of life. During November, these rounds detected and addressed 110,071 violations across various municipal work areas, supported by advanced technology including the AI- and geospatial-analytics-based "Balady Lens" system, surveillance cameras in food and health facilities, and approved inspection checklists. The Ministry stated it will continue expanding technology-supported inspections, improving response to reports, and increasing field-team presence, and called on residents and establishments to report violations through official channels.
