The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing launched a "Home Delivery Permit" service, via the Balady platform, for food and non-food establishments providing delivery services, to regulate delivery operations within cities and ensure compliance with health and technical requirements. Requirements include issuing a health certificate for delivery workers and clearly displaying the establishment's name or trademark on the delivery vehicle, which must also meet technical and health requirements for transporting products. Mandatory implementation of the permit begins 1 July 2025, with municipalities (Amanat) conducting field inspection tours to verify compliance and apply regulatory measures against violators.
