"Municipalities and Housing" Tightens Compliance with Warehouse and Storage Requirements, and Calls for Reporting Unlicensed Storage Practices

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing emphasized compliance with warehouse and storage requirements, aimed at improving the business environment, raising compliance levels, and addressing visual distortion in cities, and called for immediate reporting of unlicensed storage via the unified reporting center (940) or the "Photo and Send" service in the Balady app. It stated that using facilities within residential neighborhoods or non-commercial streets for storage without a license, storage activity inconsistent with the original commercial license, or warehouses in unauthorized locations within urban boundaries are violations listed in the municipal penalties schedule.
