Al-Huqayl: The Real Estate Brokerage System Supports the Real Estate Sector and Work Is Underway to Attract Foreign Investment to the Sector

The Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Majed bin Abdullah Al-Huqayl, said at the Real Estate Future Forum that the real estate brokerage system supports organization of the sector and will raise its transparency and efficiency. He noted the ministry is working with the Capital Market Authority toward a system for real estate contributions given the success of real estate funds, and cited the establishment of the Saudi Real Estate Refinance Company and a guarantees company to help developers and citizens facing real estate financing difficulties. He added that work is underway to attract foreign investment to the real estate sector.
