Ministry of Municipalities and Housing Updates Requirements for Private Slaughterhouses to Enhance Operational Efficiency and Service Quality

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing updated the municipal requirements for private slaughterhouses, in coordination with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, to improve operational efficiency, service quality and municipal compliance. The updated requirements apply to all private slaughterhouse activity locations and require compliance with the municipal licensing procedures system and operational requirements, Civil Defense approval before licensing, and a valid commercial registration covering the activities to be licensed.
