Ministry of Municipalities and Housing: Issuance of More Than 1,360 Collective Residential Licenses for Individuals Since the Enforcement of the Licensing Requirement

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced it has issued more than 1,360 collective residential licenses for individuals, including preliminary licenses, since the enforcement of the requirement obliging establishments to house workers in licensed collective housing began in September 2025. It noted a notable rise in license applications and that the capacity of licenses issued via the "Balady" platform reached around one million beneficiaries. The Ministry called on covered establishments to complete licensing procedures via Balady's digital services and correct their status per the approved requirements.
