Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority Seeks Public Opinions on the Draft Controls for Pre-Arrival Submission of Maritime Cargo Data
ZATCA published draft controls for the pre-arrival submission of cargo data arriving via maritime ports on the unified public consultation platform "Istitlaa," inviting comments and proposals with a deadline of 6 February 2025. The authority stated the draft aims to clarify all stages of pre-arrival data submission for maritime customs ports, to enable pre-clearance procedures before or after arrival, and to speed up clearance and simplify customs procedures.
