SAAC Grants First Medical Laboratory Accreditations to PMBAH and Saudi Ajal
The Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) has granted an accreditation certificate to the laboratory of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Madinah, affiliated with the Ministry of National Guard, in the field of medical laboratories in accordance with the international standard ISO 15189. This marks the first accreditation for medical laboratories in the government sector, while Saudi Ajal Laboratory obtained the first accreditation certificate for medical laboratories in the private sector. The accreditation was awarded following a rigorous verification of technical and administrative competence, quality control procedures, sampling practices, and the suitability of the testing environments.
