SAAC and SFDA Sign a Joint Cooperation Memorandum
The Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) signed a cooperation memorandum aimed at protecting consumers and maintaining public health and safety, based on Saudi Vision 2030 in enhancing joint work between government entities. The Saudi Food and Drug Authority was represented by H.E. Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, while the Saudi Accreditation Center was represented by the CEO Dr. Adel Alkeaid. The CEO Dr. Adel Alkeaid affirmed that the Center aims to protect consumers, raise the level of quality of services and products, and work on the competence of conformity assessment bodies. He added that the Center has worked to open avenues of cooperation with relevant government and private entities, which helps in achieving the Center’s objectives and mission.
