SAAC Holds Second Training Program for Qualification of Assessors and Experts
The Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) held the second training program for the qualification of assessors and experts on Wednesday and Thursday, corresponding to 21–22 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1443H, at the Executive Hotel in Riyadh. The program featured a group of elite speakers and experts; the first day began with Mr. Mohammed Al-Rabih, who introduced the role of accreditation in strengthening the quality infrastructure and explained the process of assessing evaluators and experts, followed by Mr. Muath Abuhaimid, who presented the accreditation process. Ms. Haneen Al-Ghamdi then spoke about SAAC policies and provided a general overview of the Center, and the first day concluded with Eng. Ayman Makki, who discussed ILAC and ARAC policies. The second day was dedicated to explaining the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025:2017) with Dr. Mohammed Al-Tastouri
