General / Saudi Arabia Hosts the Annual Meeting of the General Assembly of the Islamic Forum for Halal Accreditation Bodies (IFHAB)
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC), hosted the second annual General Assembly meeting of the Islamic Forum for Halal Accreditation Bodies (IFHAB) in Makkah yesterday, Thursday. The meeting witnessed the participation of 23 national accreditation bodies from the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in the presence and participation of representatives of the OIC Secretary-General, the Secretary-General of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), and the Director-General of the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT).
