The Saudi Accreditation Center participates in the meetings of the International Accreditation Organizations (IAF & ILAC) in Bangkok
The Saudi Accreditation Center participated in the annual general meetings of both the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), held in Bangkok, Thailand, with broad participation from representatives of international accreditation bodies. The Center's delegation was headed by the CEO Dr. Adel Alkeaid, accompanied by several of the Center's leaders. During the meetings, the delegation discussed ways to enhance international cooperation and exchange expertise in the field of accreditation and quality management systems. On the sidelines of the meetings, the CEO held several bilateral meetings with leaders of international organizations, including the Chief Executive Officer of the UK Accreditation Service, the Director General of the Nigerian National Accreditation System, and the Head of the Competitiveness and Quality Sector at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). These meetings focused on exploring areas of joint cooperation and exchanging expertise. This presence confirms the role of the Saudi Accreditation Center and consolidates its position within the global accreditation system, as the internationally recognized national accreditation body by both the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), which enhances confidence in national products and services in regional and global markets.
