SAAC CEO Participates in the Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated Mid-Term Meetings in Prague
The CEO of the Saudi Accreditation Center participated in the Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated Mid-Term Meetings, held from 20 to 26 April 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic, with the participation of leaders, experts, and representatives of accreditation bodies and centers from around the world. This participation is of particular importance given the role of the Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated as a global platform for harmonizing accreditation practices and strengthening mutual confidence in the results of conformity assessment bodies. This contributes to facilitating trade and enhancing the international acceptance of certificates and reports issued by accredited bodies. SAAC’s participation in these meetings reflects its active presence within the international accreditation system and its commitment to strengthening cooperation with peer organizations and accreditation bodies. It also supports SAAC’s efforts to keep pace with the latest technical and regulatory developments in accreditation and conformity assessment, contributing to the reliability of accreditation services and enhancing the efficiency of Saudi Arabia’s quality infrastructure. The participation further highlights SAAC’s position as the national accreditation body of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its pivotal role in empowering conformity assessment bodies, strengthening the reliability of testing, calibration, inspection, and certification results, supporting the competitiveness of the national economy, and reinforcing the Kingdom’s presence within the global quality and accreditation ecosystem. It also underscores SAAC’s commitment to expanding its international presence, exchanging expertise with international accreditation bodies, and contributing to the development of technical and regulatory practices that support the Kingdom’s objectives in the coming period.
