Saudi Accreditation signs a joint cooperation agreement with a halal products development company
The Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) signed a joint cooperation agreement today with the Halal Products Development Company at SAAC's headquarters in Riyadh. The agreement, signed by the CEO Dr. Adel Alkeaid and Halal Products Development Company CEO Mr. Fahad Al-Nahait, aims to enhance collaboration between the two entities to achieve integration, unify efforts, and exchange expertise in quality and accreditation, thereby strengthening the Kingdom's leading role in the global halal sector. Areas of cooperation under this agreement include utilizing SAAC-accredited laboratories, inspection bodies, and certification bodies for the company's projects; collaborating on training; coordinating the harmonization of local and international halal regulations; exchanging technical data within the framework of confidentiality; and participating in relevant events and workshops. This collaboration reflects SAAC's commitment to strengthening its partnerships with various local and international entities to enhance the Kingdom's quality infrastructure and support the goals of Vision 2030 in promoting leadership in the halal sector.
