GACA President Congratulates Leadership on Successful Hajj Season 1447 AH

His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister may God protect them on the successful conclusion of this year's Hajj season 1447 AH. He noted that this milestone highlights the unwavering care and dedication the wise leadership may God support them devotes to serving the guests of Allah. Through wise directives and unlimited support for all sectors involved in the Hajj season, the Kingdom continues to ensure that pilgrims can perform their rituals with ease and tranquility, supported by a fully integrated ecosystem of services from the moment they arrive in the Kingdom until their departure. His Excellency pointed out that more than 3 million seats were allocated for arrivals and departures across more than 12,000 scheduled and charter flights. These flights connected the Kingdom to more than 300 destinations worldwide through more than 100 air carriers, operating across 6 airports designated for receiving pilgrims. He added that the aviation sector's role in serving the guests of Allah extends well beyond airport terminals, highlighting the issuance of the first operational permit for drone delivery of medicines and medical logistics within the holy sites. Conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, this initiative reflects the rapid evolution of operational solutions and modern technologies supporting the Hajj ecosystem. His Excellency affirmed that intensive efforts will continue throughout the departure phase to guarantee a seamless and safe travel experience for pilgrims. He explained that these measures align with noble directives and represent an extension of the Kingdom's continuous efforts to enhance the overall pilgrim experience, reflecting its honored position in serving the Two Holy Mosques and fulfilling the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to elevate service quality for the guests of Allah. His Excellency prayed to the Almighty to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince, to bless our dear nation with continuous security and stability, to accept the pilgrims' Hajj and deeds, and to grant them a safe and prosperous return home.
